An amulet is a lucky object a person wears, known for its protective virtues. From the Grand Mughals to Napoleon, from Catherine de' Medici to Elizabeth Taylor, all were fascinated by the myths and beliefs connected with talisman jewels.

During this course
Through a presentation about talisman jewels, unravel some of their secrets, discover the superstitions attached to animals and planets, and some of symbolic meanings behind gemstones.
History and geography will then lead you on a voyage across centuries and civilizations: Each culture has its own favorite motifs for representing luck or protection, which you will discover and identify while playing an identification activity.
To conclude, understand how collections by leading jewelers have been influenced by this mysterious parallel universe.
Discover the evolution of jewelry from different perspectives: history, culture, style, symbolism…
